A web archive of an online exhibit, created by the Institute Archives and Special Collections staff at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. As of 2024, this exhibit has been transformed into a WACZ file for web archiving, and is only accessible in this viewer.
The RPI Student Traditions online exhibit features a multitude of various traditions that Rensselaer students have participated in over the college's 200 year history. Some of the more famous traditions included are Rushes, GM Week, Dances, and Calculus Cremation. Each tradition has their own categories, with each showcasing photographs, advertisements, tickets, and more, all scanned from the Institute Archives and Special Collections. Also included are brief descriptions of the tradition's history, along with campus-social context.
