Dr. Robert Gilruth, Director of the Manned Spacecraft Center, Dr. Christopher Kraft Jr., NASA engineer, and George Low, NASA administrator, join flight controllers in the Mission Control Room in celebrating the successful conclusion of the historic Apollo VIII lunar orbit mission. The small U.S. flags and smoking cigars are part of the splashdown celebration.
