Archived Website of Dim The Lights

A web archived online exhibit created by the Institute Archives and Special Collections staff at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. As of 2024, this exhibit has been transformed into a WACZ file for web archiving, and is only accessible in this viewer.

This exhibit was created to showcase performance spaces at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Highlighted is the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) that was completed in October 2008. Until the completion, no building on Rensselaer's campus had been constructed to exclusively support art on campus.

Also featured in the exhibit are off-campus performance sites, like the Troy Music Hall, Rand's Opera House, and Lyceum Hall. The web exhibit also contains images of the performance spaces, various playbooks and tickets from performing arts group at Rensselaer, and photographs of various groups performing at different venues.
